Our Notaries

After graduating in Law from the University of Turin with First-Class Honours and receiving the Optime Award for academic excellence, Maria Teresa Pelle worked with leading notarial practices in Turin, Naples and Bologna.

Since 2010, she has contributed to the journal Immobili & Proprietà (Ipsoa, Wolters Kluwer), and since 2011 she has been practising as a notary at the Viscusi Pelle Associated Notarial Practice in Leinì and Turin. That same year, she began working with the Lombardy Notarial School (Milan Notarial Council), and in 2012 she served on the examining board of Bocconi University’s School of Specialisation for the Legal Professions.

In 2022, she co-founded Authentica Notai Associati with Notary Andrea Battistone. The firm expanded in 2024 when Notaries Martina Pizzo and Alessia Martelli joined the team. Since 2024, Notary Pelle has also served as a Regent on the Board of Regents of the Turin Branch of the Bank of Italy.

Notary Pelle practises primarily in Leinì and also works from the Turin office. Her principal areas of practice include corporate deeds, extraordinary transactions, inheritance matters and trusts, and she provides responsive, professional notarial advice to private clients and businesses.

Notary in Turin, Andrea Battistone obtained his high school diploma at the Vittorio Alfieri Classical High School of Turin and graduated in Law at the University of Turin in 2014.

After completing his university studies, he undertook his notarial training and specialised at the Anselmo Anselmi School of Notarial Practice in Rome and the Raffaele Viggiani Notarial School in Milan between 2015 and 2018.

He passed the competitive examination for appointment as a notary in 2019, ranking seventh among 199 successful candidates, and has practised as a notary in Turin since 2022. In 2023 the secondary office of the firm opened in Asti, expanding the territorial presence of Authentica Notai Associati.

Notary Battistone mainly practises in Turin, with a secondary office in Asti and mainly deals with Notarial advice for companies, real estate deeds, inheritances and trusts, ensuring a clear and personalised approach for individuals and businesses.

Martina Pizzo graduated in Law from the University of Turin with distinction. In preparation for the competitive examination for appointment as a notary, she attended the Raffaele Viggiani Notarial School in Milan while also completing a Master’s degree in Estate Planning and Wealth Management.

She was successful in the competitive examination for appointment as a notary announced on 21 April 2016 and was appointed notary in Turin with Ministerial Decree of 29 May 2019.

Notary Pizzo mainly operates in Turin, with a secondary office in Rivarolo Canavese and mainly deals with corporate deeds, inheritance matters, trusts and wealth and estate planning, offering specialised notarial advice and tailored support for individuals and businesses.

Notary in Turin, Alessia Martelli obtained her classical high school diploma at the G. D’Annunzio High School of Pescara. She then completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Bologna, writing her dissertation on the philosophy of law, followed by her Master of Laws (LLM) in 2009 with a dissertation on administrative law.

In 2010, during her legal traineeship at the State Attorney’s Office (Avvocatura Distrettuale dello Stato) in Bologna, she began to collaborate with a leading notary firm in Bologna and with the Insignum Notarial Association of Legal Culture, experiences that brought her closer to the notarial world. In 2013, she was admitted to the Bologna Bar. Since 2015, she has headed the General Secretariat of the Insignum Association while also undertaking legal research assignments.

She passed the competitive examination for appointment as a notary announced in 2019 and has practised as a notary in Turin since June 2024, with a branch office in Villanova d’Asti.

Notary Martelli mainly deals with corporate deeds, inheritance matters, trusts and wealth and estate planning, offering clear and personalised notarial advice to individuals and businesses.
